Adventure is better when shared! Join the Suzuki Auto Club as we head off on an unforgettable 5-day journey through the spectacular Kingdom of Eswatini. From breathtaking mountain passes and scenic gravel roads to incredible wildlife and local culture, this promises to be an adventure you’ll be talking about for years!

🚙 Good News! This adventure is trailer-friendly, so whether you’re towing an off-road trailer or a camping trailer, you’re more than welcome to join us. We’ll be travelling at a comfortable pace, making it an enjoyable trip for everyone.

🚙 24 September – Let the Adventure Begin!

Our convoy departs from Johannesburg at 08:00 as we head towards the magnificent Malolotja Nature Reserve. Winding mountain roads, spectacular views and plenty of photo opportunities await as we make our way into the Eswatini Highlands.

That evening we’ll settle into camp, enjoy a relaxing campfire and prepare for the adventures ahead.

🏕️ 24 & 25 September – Malolotja Nature Reserve

Spend two nights surrounded by the beauty of the Highveld. Whether you’re exploring the reserve, taking in the incredible scenery, or simply relaxing around the campfire with fellow Suzuki enthusiasts, this is what overlanding is all about.

💡 Good to know: Malolotja is an off-grid campsite with no electricity. Please bring fully charged batteries, power banks, solar chargers (if you have them), lights and everything you’ll need to enjoy two comfortable nights under the stars.

🎨 26 September – Highlands to Lowveld

Today we descend into Eswatini’s beautiful Lowveld, stopping along the way at two of the country’s best-known attractions.

🫧 Ngwenya Glass – Watch skilled artisans transform recycled glass into beautiful handcrafted pieces.

🕯️ Swazi Candles – Browse colourful handmade candles and unique local crafts—perfect if you’re looking for a special souvenir.

From there we’ll continue to Hlane Royal National Park, where we’ll set up camp for the next two nights.

🦏 26 & 27 September – Hlane Royal National Park

Experience the magic of the African bush as we explore Hlane, Eswatini’s largest protected area. Keep your cameras ready—you may encounter rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, antelope and an incredible variety of birdlife.

Evenings are all about sharing stories around the fire, enjoying great company and soaking up the sounds of the bush.

💡 Good to know: The campsites at Hlane also have no electricity, so please make sure you have enough battery power and lighting for your stay.

🏠 28 September – Homeward Bound

After an unforgettable few days filled with adventure, wildlife, campfires and new friendships, we’ll pack up camp and begin our journey back to Johannesburg—already looking forward to the next Suzuki Auto Club adventure!
